A Quality Assurance Plan is specified for compliance according to customer's requirement. Castings, forgings, rolled stock and other materials are strictly tested, only those components which are ok are accepted for further processing. For tensile testing, test pieces are cast/forged integral with items. Tensile test are carried out at government authorized test houses. Hardness testing is carried out as a rule by us, and the documentation of the hardness test will be certified. Only those vendors who have facilities of above mentioned for casting and forgings are selected. Measurements are done for dimensional and positional accuracies as per drawing and relevant standards. In some cases, after rough machining, a heat treatment cycle is carried out, and then final machining is done. At the very beginning of Order stage, the quality aspects, tests, inspection points are specified in quality assurance plan and then monitored, to avoid any quality problem in the various stages of processing.
